Chosen recipe: French Toast
Ingredients:
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 slices bread (we had no stale bread so I made some quick no-yeast buns, hence the strange shape of bread!)
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
Procedure:
- Whisk egg and milk with sugar, vanilla and cinnamon.
- Dip bread into egg mixture before frying on both sides in buttered pan until golden.
- Serve with more butter.
The verdict: This was YUM! Definitely doing it again.
